As part of ongoing efforts to advance Lagos State’s healthcare system, Interswitch has collaborated with the Lagos State Government to host a stakeholder engagement forum on the progress and impact of the Lagos Smart Health Information Platform (Lagos SHIP), a key initiative developed by Interswitch, which is driving digital healthcare transformation in the state.
Lagos SHIP is designed to digitise patient records and enable the seamless transfer and synchronization of medical data across healthcare facilities in Lagos State. By improving health information exchange, the platform enhances operational efficiency, simplifies access to hospital services, and ultimately improves patient care delivery.

Getting it right now is crucial, not just for us but for future generations. SHIP is already laying the foundation for a more efficient health system in Lagos, and as the Centre of Commerce and Excellence, we are setting a precedent for other states to follow, ultimately contributing to a stronger healthcare system across Nigeria."
