Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Quickteller Platform (“Platform”). Customers
who are under 18 years of age should review these terms and conditions with a parent or guardian. Your
access to and use of the Platform by way of any Device is conditioned on your acceptance of and
compliance with the provisions of this Terms of Use.
By your accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use as amended at any
time and posted on the website www.quickteller.com. If you disagree with any part hereof, do not
access the Platform.
In addition, your use of the Platform shall be subject to any applicable regulatory guidelines or
rules. All such guidelines or rules are hereby incorporated by reference into the Terms of Use.

DESCRIPTION OF THE QUICKTELLER PLATFORM
Quickteller is the digital commerce platform that provides access to everyday lifestyle services anytime and anywhere
on one app to make you live smarter and stay in control of your finances. All payments/transactions performed are
final and cannot be recalled except in the case of a proven fraud.

ONE TIME PASSWORD (OTP)
The Platform uses optional two-factor authentication softwares for fraud, risk and compliance monitoring,
which are Device Fingerprinting and Safetoken. Safetoken generates a 6-8 digit One-Time-Password (OTP) whenever a transaction is

DEVICE FINGERPRINTING FUNCTIONALITY
The Platform has a Device Fingerprinting functionality that maps a browser or mobile device to a
User through the combination of transaction information and other unique parameters from the browser
or Device. The device fingerprinting functionality allows Users who opt-in for the functionality to
process transactions more conveniently/faster on the Platform without the need for an
OTP.
You acknowledge that by your use of the Platform, we shall be privy to and may store some of your
personal information (full name, mobile phone number and email address), your location and
browser/mobile device related information.
You acknowledge that the authentication is performed by the Platform interfacing with certain unique
parameters on your browser or mobile device and that you agree to the authentication
process.
You understand the need to protect your devices and shall be responsible for all use of your devices
(whether authorised by you or otherwise) to access the Device Fingerprinting
Functionality.
We do not represent or warrant that the Device Fingerprinting Functionality will be accessible at
all times, or function with any electronic equipment, software, infrastructure or other services
that we may offer from time to time.
You understand and hold us harmless, and free from liability for any loss
you incur in connection with the use or attempted use of the Device Fingerprinting Functionality, or
your instructions, or any unauthorised transactions through or in connection with the Device
Fingerprinting Functionality.
You shall indemnify Interswitch Limited, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents and
employees for any loss, damages, liabilities, sanction, claims, suits, fines, charges, expenses due
to or arising out of your use of the Device Fingerprinting Functionality.

TRANSFER LINK
The Platform has enabled a Transfer Link functionality which enables transfers between parties
through
a simple link, Users will be able to use the link to receive money from friends, family or to fulfil
other purposes where only transfer of funds is required. To learn more about Transfer Link please

The User understands that it is solely responsible and liable for the
information transmitted via
the link and to any such persons it communicates the link to, and hereby releases Interswitch from
any liability in this regard
VERVE ECASH
Verve eCash is a virtual card which allows Users conduct transactions via the Platform’s web and
mobile channels, without a physical bank card.
Your Verve eCash will be issued by Ecobank Nigeria Limited and the funds
in the virtual card will
be held by Ecobank Nigeria Limited.
The User understands that Interswitch and Ecobank Nigeria Limited shall
be responsible for
providing support in connection with Verve eCash.
The User understands that Verve may in its sole discretion, decide to
appoint another deposit money bank to issue the virtual card and in furtherance of this, the User
hereby authorizes Verve to transfer the funds in the virtual card to the successor deposit money
bank with notice to the User.
Account(s) Opening &
KYC Requirements
Users may open account(s)s on the Platform. There are 3 tiers of account(s)s, tiers 1-3.

account tiers and their KYC requirements. Users may not carry out any
transactions that exceed the limits set for each Tier.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Interswitch Limited and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers,
agents, and employees harmless from and against any and all claims, liability, losses, costs and
expenses (including attorneys' fees) incurred by Interswitch Limited in connection with any
use or alleged use or unauthorised use of the account under your password by any person, whether or not authorised by you.
Interswitch Limited reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense
and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and in such case,
you agree to cooperate with Interswitch Limited's defense of such claim. This indemnity
shall be a legal, continuing and irrevocable obligation and shall only be discharged in writing by Interswitch.
Account Access and Services
Account access may be granted through the issuance of debit/ATM cards,
online banking, mobile banking, and other channels as determined by Interswitch.
You are responsible for safeguarding access credentials and
promptly reporting any unauthorized transactions to Interswitch.
Fees and Charges
You agree to pay all applicable fees and charges associated with
the account, including but not limited to account maintenance fees,
transaction fees, and penalties for non-compliance.
Interswitch Limited reserves the right to modify fees and charges with prior notice.
Statements and Notifications
Account statements will be provided to you on a regular basis
through electronic means. You are responsible for reviewing statements
promptly and reporting any discrepancies to Interswitch Limited.
ACCOUNT CLOSURE
You or Interswitch may close the account with written notice, subject to the terms and conditions
outlined herein. Interswitch reserves the right to close an account for reasons including but not
limited to non-compliance with the terms and conditions, suspicious activity, or
legal/regulatory requirements.
FAILED TRANSACTIONS AND REVERSALS
In the event of a failed transaction (i.e. user has been debited for transaction, but value was not
received), please send the following details to https://help.interswitchgroup.com/for resolution:
user's mobile number, transaction amount, transaction date, transaction type and any other detail we
would request to enable us resolve your complaint. We shall use our best endeavors to liaise with the
applicable financial institution, telecommunication company and/or merchant to resolve your logged
transaction issue.
NOTICES
Your email address and phone number supplied at sign-up will be used as a means of communicating
information, notices and documents to you. Any changes to such information should be logged as a
ticket on https://help.interswitchgroup.com/
SECURITY AND UNAUTHORISED USE
- You are responsible for all transactions conducted using your computer (personal or otherwise),
mobile phone, tablet or other electronic device (“Device”), payment card or account. It is your
responsibility to keep all of these secure
- All passwords must be kept secret. You are liable for all activities undertaken using your
username, associated password or Device. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality
of all Account information and keeping your Device from unauthorized use.
- We accept no liability for any unauthorized use of your Device, payment card, account or any application you use in connection with the Platform or any effects of same.
- In the event your Device has been stolen or there is an unauthorized access to your payment card
or account, it is your responsibility to immediately notify your bank to restrict transactions on
your card and account.
- In the event your Device has been stolen or there is an unauthorized access to your Quickteller
account, it is your responsibility to immediately log as a ticket on https://help.interswitchgroup.com/
- If you dispute any purchase or withdrawal on your card or account, you will be required to prove
that the transaction was effected without your authorization and such transaction will be
investigated by our Fraud Team once we receive a logged ticket on https://help.interswitchgroup.com/
- You shall ensure any application you use in connection with this Platform has Multi-factor authentication enabled.
- You are responsible for ensuring the security of any application or Device you use.
SUSPENSION OF ACCESS TO PLATFORM
We hereby reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform (in whole
or in part) without any notice or liability in the following circumstances:
- Upon receipt of instructions from you to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform
- Upon receipt of notification from you that your Device has been lost or stolen
- If we suspect the Platform is being used for fraudulent or other illegal activities.
- If we are of the opinion that you have breached a provision contained in this Terms of Use.
- If we are of the opinion that continued access to the Platform will be detrimental to our
business.
- If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or if we
have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or
incomplete.
ACCOUNT(S) DELETION
- If, for any reason, you wish to delete your Quickteller account, you can do so by following the steps outlined below:

Log in to your Quickteller account.

Navigate to the account and settings section, where the option to delete your account is available.
- Upon deletion, you will no longer be able to conduct transactions or receive communications from
Quickteller. For more details on account deletion, please refer to our FAQs.
- To ensure the success of the account deletion process, the account must meet the following criteria:

The account should not be blacklisted.

The account balance should be empty.

The account should have no pending loan repayments.
Users have the option to re-open the account in 10 years.
In compliance with the provisions of the Nigeria Data Protection
Act and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulations, the account will be
archived for 10 years before being permanently deleted. Users have the option
to re-activate the account within the 10 year period before being permanently deleted.
Use Of Alternative Email and Phone Number
By using our services, you agree to provide and maintain an alternate email address and Phone number
that can be used for communication and account(s) recovery purposes.
This alternate email address will be used in cases of password reset requests,
account(s) verification, or other communication related to your account(s) and the Platform.
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and validity of the alternate email address and phone number provided.
We will not be held liable for any issues arising from the use of an incorrect or invalid alternate email address and/or phone number.
We will take reasonable measures to protect the privacy and security of your
alternate email address and/or phone number and we will not disclose it to third parties except as required by
applicable laws or as necessary to provide our services.
By providing an alternate email address and/or phone number, you acknowledge that you consent
to receiving important communications related to your account(s) through this
address and/or phone number. It is your responsibility to keep this email address
and o phone number up to date and to inform us of any changes promptly.
UNACCEPTABLE USE
You shall not and shall not permit any person using your Device or account to:
- use this Platform in a way that causes or could cause damage or restrict the availability or
accessibility of the Platform;
- store, copy, transmit, publish or distribute any computer virus, spyware, Trojan horse, worm,
keystroke logger or other malicious software via this Platform;
- conduct any fraudulent or illegal activities via the Platform;

You hereby understand and agree that if a fraudulent activity is associated with the operation of
your account,
We have the right to apply restrictions to your account and report to the appropriate law
enforcement agencies.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
- You acknowledge that by your use of the Platform, we shall be privy to and store some of your
personal information (full name, mobile phone number and email address).
- We shall use our best endeavors to ensure that your personal information is secure on our
systems.
- We may use your personal information for:
- providing you the service, processing transactions and sending you related information;
- providing, maintaining and improving our services;
- sending support and administrative messages to you;
- responding to your enquiries and requests;
- providing customer service;
- updating you on products, services, promotions, rewards, and events offered by us and third
parties; and
- a better understanding of your needs by combining it with information collected from others
with the objective of improving on our service delivery.
- We may disclose any information we collect about you to third parties as set forth below:
- to regulatory bodies;
- to financial institutions;
- to companies, such as email service providers that perform marketing services on our behalf;
- to third parties to enable us provide Service to you; and
- if required to be disclosed under applicable law, or stock exchange regulation or by a
government
order, decree, regulation or rule or by a court order.
- You hereby consent to the processing, transfer and storage of your information during and after
the use
of the Platform.
INDEMNITY
- You agree to indemnify Interswitch Limited, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents
and employees for any loss, damages, liabilities, sanction, claims, suits, fines, charges,
expenses due to or arising out of any transaction you process through the Platform.
- You agree to indemnify Interswitch limited and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents
and employees for any loss, damages, liabilities, sanction, claims, suits, fines, charges,
expenses arising from your violation of this Terms of Use
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- In no event shall we be liable for:
- unavailability of the Platform at any time or your inability to use the Platform.
- any form of delivery or failure thereof by a financial institution, merchant or
telecommunication company listed on the Quickteller Platform.
- erroneous input of transaction details.
- any loss arising from any failure or delay in any mobile phone networks or internet service
provider or defective Device.
- any special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of
profits, however caused.
- Under no circumstances shall it be implied that we endorse, sponsor, certify or otherwise
guarantee the sale or use of any merchant’s products and/services listed on the Platform. Use
and/or purchase of same shall be at your own risk.
- WE SHALL USE OUR BEST ENDEAVOURS TO ENSURE THE PLATFORM
FUNCTIONS OPTIMALLY AT ALL TIMES AND OUR SYSTEMS ARE FREE FROM VIRUSES, HOWEVER WE CANNOT ENSURE
SUCH EXCLUSION AND NO LIABILITY IS ACCEPTED FOR SAME. HENCE IT IS RECOMMENDED YOU PUT IN PLACE
YOUR OWN SECURITY MEASURES. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE OPERATION OF THE PLATFORM WILL BE
UNINTERRUPTED NOR ERROR FREE, NOR WILL IT BE 100% FRAUD OR FAIL PROOF.WE ARE PROVIDING THE
SERVICE “AS IS” WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE
SERVICES OR ITS CONDITION, TIMELINESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR
USE BY YOU. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DELETION OR FAILURE TO STORE ANY USER
COMMUNICATION, ACTIONS, CONTENT, INFORMATION, OR DATA OF THIRD PARTIES, AND YOU RELEASE US, OUR
DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY CLAIMS AND DAMAGES, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN,
ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH ANY CLAIM YOU HAVE IN THIS REGARD.
MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
- We reserve the right to terminate, change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at
any time and without notice.
- We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time and at our sole discretion. We
shall give you notice of such amendment by publication of the amended version via the Platform.
Your continued access to and use of the Service is your acceptance of and compliance with the
updated Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of hereof, do not access the Platform.
- You are responsible for your connection to the mobile phone networks, the Internet and all costs
associated with these connections.
- All copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights used as part of our services
or contained on the Platform belong to us or its licensors. Nothing set forth in this Terms of Use
shall constitute a transfer, license or assignment by us to you of any Intellectual Property
Rights owned by us or displayed on the Platform

If any provision of this Terms of Use is declared unlawful and/or unenforceable by operation of
law, any court or authority, such provision be severed from this Terms of Use and rendered
ineffective so far as is possible without modifying the remaining provisions of this Agreement.
- You agree that regardless of any provision of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or
cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Platform or the Terms of Use must be filed
within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred and
extinguished.
- You acknowledge and agree that this Terms of Use be interpreted and enforced in accordance with
the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- The Parties shall use their best efforts to amicably settle all disputes arising out of or in
connection with the performance or interpretation of this Terms of Use. Any dispute or differences
arising out of the construction, interpretation or performance of the obligations created under
this relationship which cannot be settled amicably within one (1) month after receipt by a party
of the other party's request for such amicable settlement shall be submitted to a Court of
competent jurisdiction in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
