How to get your ePin

Step 1 - SMS 'NIN', space and your 11-Digit National Identification Number (NIN) to 55019 or 66019 e.g (NIN 00123456789).

Step 2 - You'll receive an SMS with your 10-Digit Profile Code, your Registered NIN Name, and UTME fee details.

Step 3 - Visit quickteller.com/jamb2024pinvending to buy ePin using the 10-Digit Profile Code you received via SMS.

Step 4 - Register with your ePin at any CBT centre.

Your ePin will be delivered to your registered phone number

When does the UTME/DE registration start/end?

UMTE/DE candidates would register first from 15th January to 26th February 2024.

What types of applications can I pay for?

UTME without Mock (NGN 6200), UTME with Mock (NGN 7700), Direct Entry (NGN 6200)

Do I need the NIN to get my profile code?

Each candidate must have obtained the NIN as earlier directed by JAMB.

What happens after I get my ePin?

After successful payment & obtaining ePIN, you can proceed to any of the accredited CBT centres to complete your registration. The list of accredited centres is available on the Boar's website: www.jamb.gov.ng.

Do I need to have access to the phone number I use in sending the SMS to get my profile code?

Yes. The cell phone number used for sending NIN to either 55019 or 66019 is automatically tied to the candidate's name supplied by NIMC and will be used in all communications related to his/her 2023 Application/Examination.

What happens if I don't receive, or misplace my ePin?

If ePIN is not received or lost, send [UTMEPIN] or [DEPIN] to either 55019 or 66019 for UTME or DE respectively from the registered cell phone number. The ePIN would then be retrieved and delivered on the candidate's registered cell phone number.

How can I retrieve a lost profile code?

To retrieve a lost profile code, send [RESEND] to 55019 or 66019 as a text message from the same cell phone number. The Profile Code would then be retrieved and delivered on the candidate's registered cell phone number.
